National Hire is a public company which owns Allight and Coates. Allight is a $125m provider of light, power, air and water equipment to the mining and construction industry. Coates is a $1bn equipment rental business.

* foster a group-wide culture of collaboration and unification
* closely align Allight with its stablemate Coates
* extend the global footprint into Africa, Malaysia and India via new strategic dealer agreements
* revitalise and relaunch the Allight brand
* restructure and develop the international sales team
* develop a best-practice web portal from which the group can launch a new online parts ordering eBusiness.

SportingPulse Pty Ltd

Over a period of 8 years, SportingPulse had developed one of grass roots sport’s best-known and best-regarded software platforms.

As well as enabling club and event administrators to manage their competitions and teams in a fraction of the time taken by traditional manual processes, the initiative meant millions of players and their families could access results and stats via one secure web portal.

Though delighted with the incremental growth of their software licence fees, SportingPulse felt they were missing out on a bigger opportunity.

5 Project Objectives:

* devise and deliver a way of aggregating and monetizing SportingPulse’s most valuable assets - eyeballs.
* drive a cultural shift away from software licence fees to a CPM-based commercialisation revenue model
* restructure the www.sportingpulse.com portal to include a new MySport online community.
* create a new vehicle; Sporting Pulse Marketing Solutions (SPMS) - and with it a Robin Hood strategy for the world of grass roots sport in Australia. For the first time, the cash-strapped clubs who ‘owned’ the players’ loyalty would be plugged into the digital marketing budgets of the global brands which needed to reach them.
* mastermind a presentation of the SPMS model to the Oceania National Olympic Committee in Fiji - and the subsequent appointment of SPMS as the digital asset commercialisation team for the Beijing Olympiad.

Worldwide Online Printing Pty Ltd.

Worldwide is a nationwide group of 90 retail print franchises. Kiwi and accomplished merchant banker Mark Manderson was appointed to develop the footprint and profitability of the Network, and to take the traditional print business into the digital space by devising and delivering a new web-to-print capability.
